Nestled in the heart of Potts Point, Bronzing On Macleay opened its doors in 2015 when its founder Chanel Corban was just 22 years old. Since 2015 the salon has grown immensely popular, so much so that Chanel had to move the salon to a bigger location in 2017 to accommodate her ever growing client numbers. Chanel is focused on delivering style, excellence, and satisfaction to all her clients, the moment they enter Bronzing On Macleay.
The salon offers a range of beauty procedures to help all clients feel and look amazing! These include Bronzing Session, Lash Extensions, Nails, Waxing, Tinting, Facials, Lash Lift, Brow Feathering, Eyelash Extensions and a wide variety of beauty products that leave you glowing.
Chanel’s philiosopsy is that Bronzing On Macleay is not just a salon; it’s a unique experience.

What’s a typical day at Bronzing on Macleay?
Every day at Bronzing On Macleay is fun-filled, action packed and we’re always on the go !
What’s the most challenging thing about running your business?
Finding the time to build on the exciting ideas screaming at me daily !!!
You’ve created an incredibly successful beauty salon, what’s your best advice for someone thinking of starting a business within the beauty and wellness space?
Start it sooner rather than later. I opened my salon at 22 years of age, threw myself in the deep end, and four years later, my salon has grown, I have more employees, and I am able to come and go when I please.
Networking and talking to others who have started their own business is also crucial, as it helps you build an insight into how other people have progressed.
Stay true to what you are offering, and keep listening and fiercely following your instinct.
If you have a dream to start your own business, get started and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make it happen. As long as you have clarity around your mission and you stay consistent with it, you will grow. Keep moving forward!
How important is maintaining an active online presence for your business?
CRUCIAL !! Especially the beauty industry.
Due to the world being so fast paced and people being time poor, having an online presence allows for clients to book online, read about treatments, compare prices with other salons, all without having to pick up a phone.
You need to be online to have a business these days …
